Last week, Saturn Metals visited Bureau Veritas’ Weir industrial scale High Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGR), where we are planning additional metallurgical testing for our Apollo Hill heap leach studies. HGPR can improve long-term efficiency on heap leach pads by optimising gold recovery, and according to Weir’s website, can also reduce energy consumption and maintenance requirements compared to traditional crushing methods. It was great to see the technology and get the team together to plan our next program.
